Arturia – Synclavier V 2.0.2 (VSTi, VSTi3, AUi) [MacOSX]

Description : The original Synclavir is a digital synthesizer that combines several synthesis options: additive, FM, and also the so-called Timbre Frame – in fact it is a resynthesis technology based on combining arbitrary microsamples into a chain in the same sequence. Synclavier was actually created as a computer based on a 16-bit microprocessor, which was connected to a simple five-octave keyboard. The tools were used by Michael Jackson, Steve Wander, Sting, Frank Zappa, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Oscar Peterson, Tony Banks, Mark Knopfler and many others. Hollywood composer Alan Silvestri with the help of Synclavier created music for the films “Cat’s Eye” and “Predator”.

The basis of sound generation in Synclavier is the Partial Timbre method. Each such partial tone can have its own timbre character. Full sound is created by combining several such components. The prototype used four partial tones, while the virtual instrument uses 12 partial tones.
The possibilities of sound generation of a virtual instrument are almost endless, but, of course, for their realization, a lot of work needs to be done. Some idea of the potential of the tool can be made from the factory presets, of which a huge amount is recorded, but they also cover far from the whole range of its capabilities. Some presets show precisely the complex chains of samples, with a multifaceted and lengthy “sweep” of the tone. In general, as always, it all depends on the imagination and perseverance of the musician.

New in version:
New resynthesis engine with up to 100 analysis points.
Sample playback mode.
Timeline improvements, including doubling frames from 50 to 100; added global frame speed offset;
a new frame tuning parameter; new loop mode; frames can now be synced to host BPM grid; the ability
one frame on the timeline by shift + drag; and refined Solo / Copy / Paste / Delete timeline
workflow.
Modulation tab improvements, including the Vibrato and Stereo LFO; and amp
and Harmonic envelopes added as modulation sources.
Keyboard dynamics improvements.
Ability to choose Keyboard, Velocity or Mod Wheel as input sources.

Cosmetics improvements, including LFOs in screen view, envelopes global offsets, tabs order,
real time feedback, ruler auto-zoom, envelopes and timeline
bound scroll.
New opening mode for hardware upper panel.
Harmonic phase histograms are now displayed in degrees (-179 ° / + 180 °).
Additional template presets with a HQ Simple Sine.
Presets revamped with wheel alignment and sustain pedal.
All former settings page parameters are now stored in presets.
BUGFIXES:
– Saving an user preset after changing changes
instead of creating a new one

anymore when set at maximum values
